Jamil, knowing from this post that I had every intention of taking a picture with an April newspaper to prove the tree existed, cut it down before I got back. He used a tree trimmer type thing and mixed some tree parts with the regular trash and some with the compost. When I got back the tree was gone and my camera broken. I guess he thought he better make double-sure. But, next year we will buy another tree which will undoubtedly sit there for many many months again so there will be pictures.Patriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02261027170530083833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13750660.post-25219350621352218782007-06-02T10:46:00.000-04:002007-06-02T10:46:00.000-04:00great story. :) so... how did you end up actually ...great story. :) so... how did you end up actually getting rid of it?Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07821485187818057128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13750660.post-1175517343779933542007-04-02T08:35:00.000-04:002007-04-02T08:35:00.000-04:00One word: chainsaw.Seriously. So Dad dismembered the tree with his chainsaw, so that it would fit into multiple garbage bags. I can't remember exactly, but I think we just left the bags out for the usual garbage pickup.Gaineshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07539564369474356597noreply@blogger.com
